MINISTRY GROUPS

Along with the Five Empowerment Groups we have Seven Ministry Groups.  We are all one body with many parts & each part has their own role to play for us to function as the glorious bride.

These groups bring a wide range of areas where you can get involved with Light, either by joining us at local events or by being our contact person to build these events & programs in your own local community & regions.

While the Empowerment Groups develop peoples personal identity & purpose, these Ministry Groups are a united 'base camp' for for the wider church to fulfil Isaiah 60:1-3

1 “Arise,  shine, for your light  has come, & the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth & thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you & his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light, & kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Our Light Ministry Group is the logo for general events & projects under the Light Charity.

Seminars, healing ministry, counselling, our website, our app & other general ministry happenings will come under this group.

This ministry group spearheads projects for this charity & breaks new ground in each region to make way for the body of Christ to join together & walk in unity.

We believe this unity of all the churches is where the light of God burns at it's brightest, pushing back the darkness & inspiring the world.

This ministry group is the anchor for the charity to keep it on task & growing, it is our planning & development group & the ideas group.

The leaders in this Ministry Group will at times work closely with the charities Board of Trustees to stay true to the vision of the Light Ministry.

We are in new times & a new season & God wants to release a new sound on the earth!

With this in mind we are gathering like minded people to join our Sound of Light Music group to work together on two specific types of music projects.

Music for the Church

We are gathering songwriters, poets, musicians, prophetic voices, prayer teams, producers, & financers to come together to release a new sound into the church reflecting the times & seasons we are in.

Music for the World

Our second aim is to gather all of the above who have a heart for reaching the lost in their darkest places.  We want to release a new sound into the world that spears through the darkness calling the lost home to the Father.

Prayer alongside Worship & Scripture are our strongest areas of warfare to push back the darkness of the world & boldly shine God's light into the world around us.

Our Light Prayers Group is a team of intercessory prayer warriors who know how to bind the enemy & go before us where we need to break new ground.

Our prayers must be partnered with faith as in Mark 11:22-25 where it says “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ & does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, & it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” 

There is power in praise & prayer, our intercession group teaches people how to pray powerfully & covers this ministry while also praying for our cities & nations.

Light Festivals are a way of bringing all the local churches together to bless their community in a soft approach evangelism event.

These festivals are in a public area & have live music, food trucks, free games & activities for the kids, appropriate merchandise for sale, dream interpretation & healing tents, plus more!

It's an expo of what God can do for the community through the local churches!

Each local church brings flyers on what they have to offer the community such as children's & youth programs, addiction programs, counselling, after school care, activity groups, support, help programs (like learning how to cook or budget), etc, to hand out on the day.

The purpose of these festivals is to give the local community a blessed & fun day while sending them home with flyers & information on ways we the church can help them.  

Later when they come back through our doors then we can build a relationship with them & share Jesus with them through our testimonies.

In Hosea 4:6 God says that, "my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge."

Scripture has many layers & goes to depths that there is always new revelation to be pondered & new knowledge to be learned & applied as wisdom.

Light Teaching is a ministry group that operates across our Empowerment Groups & Ministry Groups to make sure we are knowledgeable & always learning & growing in God's Word for all areas of our lives.

Light Teachings will be online, in person, written in text, in videos, however we are funded & creatively inspired to bring knowledge to God's people.

We will have teachings on many varying topics on our App, our social media pages, on our YouTube channel, at seminars, & at Empowerment Group & Light Events.

Some teachings like our Proverbs 31 Day Wisdom Challenge we may be able to email to you if you aren't local to collect a booklet.

Don't be destroyed for lack of knowledge, seek further learning opportunities today!

In the Abrahamic blessing God said that our obedience allows us to possess the gates of our enemy which in turn means we can block the devourer from entering our homes, businesses & cities.

We are living in morally decaying times with broken systems & it is important that when we are in any form of business, be it horticulture, agriculture, trades, merchandise, hospitality, or any other trade system, that we know & understand how to apply God's instructions around commerce.

In God's instruction to the Israelites when they were taken to Babylon, He told them that in seeking the welfare of the city in which they are captive He will bless them & in that they will find their own future prosperity.  

At the time Babylon was the Commerce Capital of the World & by learning their business acumen, after 70 years of seeking Babylon's welfare, they returned home with commerce skills that have made the people of Jewish decent consistently around 25-30% of the Forbes 500 wealthiest people lists.

God wants us to prosper!  This group is about seeking the Lord's path for that future prosperity in our own fields of commerce.
